FORT WORTH – The West 7th Street area of Fort Worth, including the Cultural District, has previously lacked many options for access to fresh produce and other artisan goods. West 7th development is seeking to fill that gap with a weekly Farmer’s Market starting Thursday, February 4th and continuing every Thursday from 4-7pm in the former Teskey’s Uptown space located at 2913 Crockett Street, between Waters and Dude, Sweet Chocolate.
Each week will feature local vendors serving fresh produce, eggs, meat, floral, jams, jellies, pickles, and other cottage goods items, along with a select assortment of artisan craft vendors. The selection of vendors is carefully chosen in order to complement the existing tenants at West 7th such as FW Market + Table that serves upscale pantry items along with ready-to-eat boxed meals. Additionally, WRARE sells candles and other home goods while Flirt Boutique and Reads Jewelers carry fine jewelry and casual jewelry options.
Every week, visitors can also expect to hear live music from local musicians or catch a chef-lead cooking demonstration. For the first event, the following vendors will be in attendance:
Ash Creek Farms – organic meat and eggs
Chef Evan – salted caramels
Coop 26 – free range eggs
Danette’s Urban Oasis – Dutchfarmstead Gouda Cheeses
Elizabeth Anna – produce, plants & eggs
Ephemera – succulents, terrariums
